Desert Garden Club Information
Beginner or expert, anyone can improve their skills by attending the Sun City West Desert Garden Club meetings, held each month from September through May. No meetings are held in June, July or August
Each meeting features a knowledgeable gardening professional or talented amateur speaking on how to grow, fertilize, irrigate and maintain everything from apples to zinnias.
A few times a year, our meeting may be preempted by an all-day bus trip to a local botanical garden site or other places of gardening interest. One of our social events of the year is a catered fall meal.
The Desert Garden Club Greenhouse is located in the Beardsley Recreation Center courtyard, behind the meeting rooms. The greenhouse volunteers meet there on Mondays and Thursdays. They propagate and grow various plants through the year, which are sold at the annual Fall Craft Fair, held in early November, at our monthly plant sales at the greenhouse on the first Friday and the first Saturday of the month from September through June, and Monday through Fridays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the greenhouse. New greenhouse volunteers are always welcome.
DUES – $10.00 PER YEAR
