Plant Sales – Open to the public
From October to May, plant sales are held from 8:00 am to noon on the first Saturday of the month and on Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Our greenhouse is at the Beardsley Recreation Center on the corner of Beardsley Road and 128th Avenue in Sun City West.

Regular Plant Sales (except in the hot summer months)
The Desert Garden Club holds a plant sale many mornings except during the summer. Cash and credit cards are accepted (no checks).
Morning Sales except in Hot Summer
Desert Garden Club Greenhouse Chairperson Louise Pierce and club member Denise Wirz put the Greenhouse Open sign near the Beardsley Recreation Center parking lot. The public is welcome to purchase plants at the greenhouse.
The Desert Garden Club propagates a huge variety of plants to be sold to the public to support its various programs and projects.
Help us by letting us harvest plants at your home
Do you have a cactus that needs trimming?
The SCW Desert Garden Club will trim your cacti and remove baby plants that you don’t want. There is no charge for this service as we can propagate the removed pieces in our greenhouse at the Beardsley Rec Center.
Please note that we will only harvest plants and pieces that we can use in our plant sales program to support community charities – this is not an offer of landscaping service.
